| Situated in the village of West Huntspill in the historic Sedgemoor area of Somerset, Ilex House provides the ideal accommodation option convenient for all the local and wider Somerset attractions. It is not just a convenient base however but also a terrific Grade II listed Georgian house with a large garden and beautiful outlook, perfect for a short break in lovely surroundings or a longer holiday sampling some of the delights of Somerset. | Ilex House accommodation is available within three centrally heated guest bedrooms, each equipped with television, hair dryer, a small refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Room one is a double room with en suite shower room, toilet, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Room two is a twin room with all the same features and room three is a double with access to a private bathroom (down four stairs) with full size bath and shower attachment. Bathrobes are only provided for room 3. Guests are welcome to make full use of the guest sitting room, which has a large screen TV, a selection of books and garden views. |
Tariff for accommodation is £65 per room per night based on double occupancy and £40 per night for single occupancy. Breakfast is served every morning in the lovely dining room, which looks out over the former courtyard which now houses a greenhouse. Breakfasts are truly something special at Ilex House, with a wide ranging menu employing fresh local ingredients. All bread, pancakes, marmalade and jams are made by Gwynne.
